Corporate Citizenship

A Culture of Giving Back

Huntington Ingalls Industries is committed to being a good corporate citizen in all of the communities where it operates. For HII’s Technical Solutions division, that includes communities in 45 states and 16 countries.

Technical Solutions supports HII’s investments in education and workforce development; preserves and protects the environment; invests in the United Way, the American Heart Association and other health and human services initiatives; and supports the U.S. military and veterans.

In 2019, Technical Solutions hosted its first-ever Global Day of Caring. More than 300 employees—as well as their family members and friends—supported a variety of service projects in the United States and in Calgary, Canada, and Seoul, South Korea.

“The 6,000 men and women who work at Technical Solutions help solve some of our nation’s toughest challenges—from unmanned and autonomous systems, to nuclear and environmental services, to a wide variety of defense and intelligence solutions, to complex oil and gas engineering projects. Many of them also solve challenges on the local level, giving their time, talent and money through our Global Day of Caring and many other community initiatives. I’m proud to work with a group of people that makes such a big difference—in the United States and around the world. We are an organization that cares.”
