Contract Summary:
The scope of this IDIQ includes studies and analysis, specification and design, fabrication, development, integration, assembly, installation, test, evaluation, demonstration, fielding, operations, maintenance, training, logistics, documentation, administration, configuration management (CM), and program management (PM) of both hardware and software in support of unmanned maritime systems, both surface and subsurface, engaged in waterborne and underwater mine countermeasures (MCM). MCM systems currently planned for deployment include the MK 18 Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (UUV) system and Mine Hunting Unit (MHU) Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) system where underwater mines are defined to include Water Borne Improvised Explosive Devices (WBIED). The scope of this contract covers current systems as well as any future waterborne and underwater technologies in the following maritime system mission areas: MCM; anti-submarine warfare (ASW); Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR); or force protection (FP).
