NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (Oct. 5, 2016)—Huntington Ingalls Industries (NYSE:HII) announced today that Brad Mason has been promoted to a vice president of its Newport News Shipbuilding division and president of its AMSEC LLC subsidiary. 9/23/2016 - Email to all AMSEC Employees, re: Today is a very special day!
Thirty-five years ago today, September 23, 1981, AMSEC became a registered corporation. It was the beginning of something special, and to celebrate, we’ve launched our new AMSEC.com website!
We encourage you to take a few minutes today to go to AMSEC.com and enjoy getting to know better our remarkable company. There is something on the site that even long-time employees and our most loyal customers will learn. The site is graphic-oriented so you will see photos of some co-workers that you know, and be introduced to some new faces as well. Most importantly, we’ve enhanced our capabilities section so our employees, customers and potential new hires can learn more about our business lines, the benefits of working for AMSEC, and be aware of special events in which AMSEC participates.
The website branding effort, led by HII, emphasizes a cohesive look and feel across all divisions and subsidiaries. The site has been optimized for Google and other search engines, and has a responsive design for mobile devices. We’ve added an event calendar that reflects trade shows, career fairs and other public events, where customers and potential new hires can get a glimpse into the AMSEC experience. Also included are links to HII’s social media feeds. AMSEC’s family companies, Newport News Shipbuilding, Ingalls Shipbuilding, Continental Maritime of San Diego, Newport News Industrial Corporation, Stoller Newport News Nuclear, Undersea Solutions Group, and UniversalPegasus International will be launching their similar-looking external sites over the next month.
